La chanson fait référence au film Les Goonies. Elle est issue d'une des scènes du film, ou l'un des personnages principaux, Bagou, récupère une pièce dans une fontaine a souhait contrairement a ses camarades, qui eux les déposent.

Le refrain "I'm taking them all back"(Je les reprends toutes) vient de la phrase prononcée par cet acteur au moment ou il récupère ses pièces de la fontaine.

Le titre, Martin Sheen ou JFK réfère quant a lui a l'effigie frappée sur les pièces, que Bagou confonds.
